Watch out for the letter outlining this half term’s clubs. We have gardening, computing (KS1), invasion games (KS2), science (Year 6) and family learning (EYFS),
Mrs Edgell and Mrs Manning have organised gardening club this half term. The children from across school have learnt lots and made a super job of tidying up our gardens. Everyone was given a tomato plant to take home. Children have been very busy watering every day, in all of this lovely dry, sunny weather.
As part of their work on STEM, Jupiter class visited a Supersonic Car workshop at NDA. They were fascinated by the exhibition and joined in with all the activities. Mrs Blant was very impressed by how knowledgeable they were, and how well behaved they were.

We were so lucky with the weather for our outdoor learning afternoon. Our families were invited intschool, and onto the the school field,
to work on an activity with their child’s class. After school all staff had a range of lovely activities for families to try, and Mrs Stavers provided tea, coffee and doughnuts. A brilliant time was had by all.
In celebration of England making the semi-final of the World Cup, we are inviting everyone into school in football kit or something red and white. There will be flag making and lots of themed activities. Hopefully this will send positive vibes to the England squad!
A reminder that our book fair will be in school all this week. Books are available to buy after school every night.
Families are invited into classes on Thursday 7th June, at 2.30pm. Each class will complete a shared activity until 3.10pm. Once the children are dismissed at the end of the day, staff will be on the field with an additional choice of outdoor activities, which families can join in with. Refreshments will be served.
