Beamish Primary School forms one part of the Beamish and Pelton Federation of Schools. This means the Headteacher and Governors lead both schools and thus provide opportunities for both schools to benefit from the partnership.
These close links allow resources and expertise to be shared as well as staff training, federation events and access for all children to sports, performances, field trips, etc.
As part of a federation, we strive to broaden the opportunities for all children through a creative and innovative curriculum that encourages a collaborative partnership and shared ethos.
